PA11. Teaching Reading Using Cultural Language Learning Approach (CLLA)

Abstract

This paper is a developmental research findings, concerning the need on preserving and disseminating regional cultural heritage. It was conducted through designing a tourist guide book which could be used as teaching materials for extensive reading. The research subjects were the tourist guides working for Sonobudoyo Museum, Yogyakarta. It found CLLA- Based Supplementary Readers which matched with the users, namely,the relevant tourist guides, the foreign tourists and the relevant learners.
