PA118. Communication in Blended Learning: Problems, Responses and Strategies

Abstract

The major portion of this paper presents the Blended Learning Communication Problems of Saudi Arabian Undergrad Learners of Intensive English. Then, it focuses on the positive and negative responses of the learners and thereby suggests effective communication strategies in language teaching using blended learning. The research was conducted among the first year students of Computer Science of King Khalid University, studying Intensive English as university requirement for 12 hours a week for 15 weeks

Tanzin Ara Ashraf is a Lecturer at King Khalid University. She received an MA in English Literature and has been teaching in Saudi Arabia since 2008. Her area of interests include language teaching style, communication strategies and teaching Shakespearean drama.
