PA125. Incorporating Soft Skills into General Foundation Programme

Abstract

Despite the significance given to Soft Skills in graduate programmes, increasing demand from graduates’ career destinations warrant early introduction of training on such attributes.  The purpose of this study based in Oman was to identify critical Soft Skill attributes that corporate houses are seeking from graduates. Further, from the paper, participants learn how these Soft Skills can be incorporated into the General Foundation Programme (GFP) curriculum by an embedded model.
