Presentation title

PA129. Peer tutors mentoring each other.

Abstract

Peer Tutors (PTs) have been employed in the Tutorial Centre, within the Language Centre of SQU for the last four years. Initially they were formally trained and informally mentored by the coordinator. As the PT staff has grown from 3 to 37, there has been less time for the coordinator to supervise and support new and seasoned PTs. Recently a formal system of mentoring was created to support new PTs.
