PA134. An Action Research on Explicit Vocabulary Instruction

Abstract

The researchers present the effects of Explicit Vocabulary Instruction on the language performance of Omani college students in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The main objective of this study is to facilitate the vocabulary acquisition of the learners by employing the Presentation-Practice-Production (PPP) method. The participants can use this as one of the methods in teaching L2 vocabulary from novice to intermediate levels.
