PA169. Effects of Dynamic Assessment on Learners’ Strategy Use

Abstract

This study investigated the effects of dynamic assessment on the use of the strategies of two speech acts. The participants were randomly assigned into 4 groups consisting of 2 dynamic assessment and 2 Non-dynamic assessment groups (high vs. low proficiency).The results indicated dynamic assessment's superiority over non-dynamic assessment. The implications are discussed and some suggestions are given.
