Abstract

Oral communication beyond traditional speaking classes is a major challenge to effective foreign language learning and communication. This presentation reviews the limitations of current speaking classes for learners’ oral communication, and provides a research oriented pattern for the construction of a friendly and supportive classroom environment to go beyond these boundaries.
