Abstract

For educators, the task is how to nurture intellectual curiosity as the engine of human achievement.  By recognising the diversity and the capacity for creativity of learners, educators are able to create conditions where students can thrive. A glance at some key ideas of learner-centred pedagogy  enables us to explore and update our understanding of planning what to teach and how to teach

Peter Waters has extensive international experience in tertiary education, teacher education and professional development. The author of numerous works on pedagogical science, he has lectured in Oman for ten years and currently teaches at GUtech.
