PA211. Whatsapp: the harbinger of collaboration in language learning

Abstract

Whatsapp has become one of the widely used social networking applications in mobile devices because of the numerous features it provides.  It offers collaborative learning that can help ESL students foster their language skills. Whatsapp has been employed as a communicative language platform to teach English language skills to a group of students at the Arab Open University, which has improved students proficiency in English and has received  a very profound admiration from the students.
