PA94. Are We Doing Enough ESP?

Abstract

ESP is a vital part of English language teaching. It targets certain language items that specialized students need for their studies. Is the foundation program a good start for ESP? Can the goals be achieved? Can the skills be acquired? The paper deals with these issues and addresses the areas from the current ESP application in the Language Center of Sultan Qaboos University.
