Presentation title

WS22. Using Classroom Projects to Reach Multiple Intelligences

Abstract

This workshop examines the elements that make project based learning (PBL) an efficient teaching tool. When working on projects, learners collaborate and develop their team building, co-working, problem solving, negotiating and decision making skills,to achieve “individual goals” as well as “team goals”. However, designing projects that motivate learners, tap on learners' multiple intelligences and integrate use of technology, could be very challenging.  Also, using a project as an assessment tool to evaluate individual and group performance could be very tricky. Through a concrete example, planning, procedures, learning objectives and assessment methods in PBL will be highlighted and discussed.
