Presentation title

WS31. Do It, Act It, Use Drama in Classroom

Abstract

It has been observed that, not much attention is paid to some basic areas of teaching which might provide students with enough chances to put whatever they’ve been learning into practical use. It's difficult to find things which motivate, students enough to participate actively in ESL/EFL classroom. Therefore, the need of such a medium arises where students can use creative abilities: imagination, practical abilities, organizing and planning. The use of “Drama” is such a strategy, to get students more fascinated in producing language, developing oral skills, problem solving, creative abilities and simultaneously enjoying the learning environment while playacting.
