Presentation title

WS57. DELTT: Design your own English Language Teaching ToolKit.

Abstract

Teaching from 'the book' is not a sufficient methodology to facilitate acquisition of the English language in EFL classrooms. On the contrary, teachers need to develop supplementary resources to facilitate learning according to the need and level of their learners.
This workshop will demonstrate how to develop a tool-kit of supplementary materials which can  be used to strengthen the communicative competence of students. The workshop will be of practical value  for English teachers by demonstrating how they can minimize their dependence on text books, and at the same time create more learner-centered approaches to English language acquisition.
